RENTAL POLICY 

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ ABOUT EXTRA DAMAGE AND/OR CLEANING COSTS THAT MAY APPLY.

 

GENERAL POLICY

We have trailers and 5th wheels available for weekly rental ranging in size from 26 feet to 40 feet. All our units are equipped with smoke and propane alarms. Rental costs vary according to the individual 5th wheel or trailer and are available with a 4-night minimum for the high season months. Please note that we reserve the right to substitute trailers when necessary to accommodate party size and/or camp ground reservation.

We invite our clients to choose the campsite to which they wish to have us move their rental unit. However, the campsite chosen must have full hook-ups: sewer, water, and power. If your campsite does not have a sewer connection, a $50.00 surcharge to empty the septic tanks at the end of your rental period will be applied. A generator can be rented-please inquire.

We offer delivery to any of the campsites on our campground list and include complete setup and pickup and cleaning is included unless it is left in an inappropriate state. Trailers and RV's are not to be moved or towed once we deliver them to a designated campsite. For a full list of our delivery fees please follow the link.

 
DELIVERY AND CHECK-OUT TIME

Delivery time: we will make every effort to have your trailer ready on site before 5:00pm. Delivery time can sometimes be affected by events beyond our control, such as traffic, and blocked-in units, etc. There will be no refunds for late delivery.

Please note that RV Here Yet check-out time differs from most campgrounds' posted check-out times. Your check-out time must be NO LATER than 10:00am in order to enable us to move the trailer for the next rental client.

 
PROBLEMS AND/OR DAMAGE

Should any problems or damage occur regarding either the unit as a whole or equipment or parts, please advise us immediately so that we may deal with it promptly. Charges for damaged equipment will be based on costs plus labour. Do not attempt any repairs yourself.

Please be advised that no refund will be given for non-functioning equipment. However, we will attempt to repair all equipment as soon as possible once you advise us of a problem. 

 
AIR CONDITIONING MALFUNCTIONS

Air conditioning which malfunctions during a rental period will be repaired as quickly as possible. A discount of 10% of the 7-day weekly rental rate will be pro-rated for the number of days the client is affected but will only be considered if a problem persists longer than 3 days. We will provide fans if needed. Please be aware that air conditioning units may ice up AND BREAK DOWN if set too cold or left on for too long, or if windows or doors are left open. If icing occurs, turn off the unit for a few hours.

 
AWNINGS

All units have awnings for the convenience of, but also at the responsibility of, the unit renter. Please ensure that you lower one side of the awning during heavy rain for drainage and retract the awning in the event of a strong wind. It is highly recommended that you retract the awning at the end of every evening in case of high winds during the night, as well as when you are leaving the unit for an extended period of time (more than 1 hour).

 
BASIC AMENITIES IN OUR UNITS
  • We include free propane for normal trailer use only. Propane tanks are not to be moved and/or used with BBQ's.

  • All trailers and RVs feature fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and broom.

  • We supply 2 rolls of biodegradable toilet paper (if you require more please contact us or purchase your own biodegradable products), 1 role of paper towel, hand towels, wash clothes, beach towels, bedding, linens, and kitchen towels.

  • Basic condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and relish) will be provided in each trailer.

  • Please bring your own pillows, blankets and sheets.

 
STANDARD PROTOCOL

RV Here Yet BC maintains its fleet of rental units in a clean, livable condition, where everyone can truly enjoy their camping experience. However, in order to maintain these conditions, certain common courtesy rules must apply since these units are used by many people over each season. Please read carefully, as non-compliance to these protocols will result in additional charges.

  • No smoking inside units

  • Please leave the unit in the same shape as it was when you arrived (see extra damage and cleaning charges below). In the event that the unit is not in a standard condition upon your arrival, you must advise RV Here Yet immediately.

  • Please note that everyone must remove ALL FOOTWEAR before entering, otherwise a carpet cleaning/lino repair charge of $300 will apply.

  • All utensils, dishes, pots, pans are to be washed and stored (pots and pans MUST NOT be used on external BBQ's or fires).

  • All appliances (fridge, stove, microwaves,etc.) must be completely cleaned inside and out.

  • Shower, toilet and bathroom floor must be completely cleaned.

  • Sink, counter top and tables must be clean.

  • All floors must be cleaned and swept.

  • All upholstery must be left clean.

  • Please be advised that awnings are fragile and can easily be broken, for which you will be responsible (approx. value $1500) please take extra care.

 
DEPOSIT and RENTAL FEES:
 
  • A damage deposit of $500.00 per rental will be applied to your credit card at the time of booking. A 24 hour grace period from time of booking applies after which time a $75 per week cancellation fee will apply. No refunds if cancellations are made 48 hours after booking.

  • For renters with pets, we have an additional charge of $20.00 per day for large dogs and $25.00 per day for smaller dogs. We ask that you do not allow pets on the couches. A $100.00 fee will be applied if the couches need to be shampooed. 

  • Damage deposits will be returned once the trailer has been inspected. If damage has occurred or any items are missing the deposit will be held and additional charges will be applied to a credit card on file.

  • BBQ's can be rented for $50.00. Please ensure they are returned cleaned.

Campground delivery fees

 

  • $100.00 for Penticton

  • $125.00 for Okanagan Falls

  • $175.00 for Oliver

  • $200.00 for Osoyoos

  • $150.00 for Summerland

  • $175.00 for Peachland

  • Dumping fee for sewage and black water $50.00

    *Fees include delivery, set-up, and pick-up.

  • Please note that campground fees vary, please visit the website of the campground you are interested in and check to see what fees may apply.

 

PLEASE NOTE: by authorizing RV Here Yet to apply the security deposit amount against your credit card, you are also authorizing RV Here Yet to apply any of the extra fees incurred due to non-compliance to our policies, as described below.

Cancellations:

​

A 24 hour grace period from time of booking applies after which time a $75 per week cancellation fee will apply. No refunds if cancellations are made 48 hours after booking.

Management has the right to refuse rental if original agreement is partially cancelled or altered by the renter. This is due to the scheduling of other trailers. Scheduling is done in advance based on the rentals booked, therefore it may not be possible to pick-up or deliver if a particular rental is cancelled wholly or partially.

Disclaimer: 

 

Due to climate change conditions beyond our control, such as wildfires, floods or natural disaster and the reservation cannot be fulfilled in full or partially, if an evacuations order is put in place or any official notice placed by an municipal, provincial or federal authority, no portion or amount paid for the reservation will be refunded. This extends to reservations that cross over into the United States due to lack of documentation.
